Baxter Brand Device History
Baxter has a long history with Infusion technology and medicine. In terms of infusion and syringe devices the recent Baxter brands include:
- SIGMA Spectrum
- Colleague
- Infus OR
- Travenol
- Flo-Gard
- AS50 and AS40
In 2012 Baxter completed the acquistiion of SIGMA International which develops a platform of infusion technologies. The first product from that acquisition was the SIGMA Spectrum pump platform. As of 2015 it is the only new infusion device available from Baxter.
