Refurbished items will carry different expectations than aftermarket. Refurbished parts and items will pass functionality testing and are warrantied to work as designed. Refurbished parts and items may be antiquated and therefore difficult to obtain, many items are "end of life" and/or unsupported by the manufacturer.
