In its guidelines, the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland, encourages the use of single use laryngoscope blades.

These new blades are designed to offer a stronger, safer cost effective solution to help reduce the risk of cross-infection. The range is compatible with the ISO7376-3 green specification handles, as indicated by the green Intersurgical logo near the heel of the blade.
